JED Engineering & Land Surveying is providing Topographical, Utility and Control survey information for the replacement of storm and sanitary sewers, catch basins in Surf Avenue, Neptune Avenue and Mermaid Avenue from W. 17th Street to Stillwell Avenue. Survey services will be required for the preparation of final / As-Built drawings using NYCDEP specifications. Sewer scope required the checking of all sewer hardware. Due to time constraints the locations, rim and invert elevations required the using of special instruments Trimble Robotic Total Stations, GPS RTK and Precise Digital leveling. Rim & invert elevations were computed in NAVD 88. All horizontal data computed in NAD 83.
