Reconstruction of 99th and 10th Street, Borough of Queens

JED Engineering was retained to provide REI services for this major reconstruction project involving the installation of two miles of 48-inch steel Trunk Water Mains in the Jamaica Section of Queens. The project also included extensive sewer, distribution water main and drainage work along with appurtenances such as blow-offs, air cock hydrants, 48-inch butterfly valves and associated chambers, access manholes and 20-inch regulator valves.

99th and 110th Streets were fully reconstructed with new curbs, sidewalks, composite pavement, street lighting, traffic signals, fire alarm communications, and regulatory and street name signs and landscaping.

Construction Cost: $59M
